clubman pinaud

i picked up some clubman pinaud aftershave last night and really like the way this stuff smells. What shaving soap would go well with this partiuclar aftershave? looking for scents that would pair well with it or and actual clubman pinaud scented soap. thanks again

I’ve read that the Clubman soap does not smell like the Clubman Original aftershave.

I did see one at CBL soaps. Worth a look.

ok, i can see what he has. it doesnt havent to be a soap directly from clubman, i was curious as to whether there were other artisans that might have a scent profile that would go well with the afteshave. thanks tho, i will see what cbl has.

ok, i will see if he has some scent oils and could do it in one of his other bases. if not ill try out the shave stick. may be worth gettting for traveling

All good suggestions above. I do like matching scents also, but found soaps generally have little or no scent longevity. As long as there is not too much disparity in the scent of your soap and aftershave you should be fine. The olfactory experience of soaps only lasts during the shave for me. Using MWF or Arko I can pair it with anything for example.

Sticks are just soap in a different form. They are easy to use, and take up less space in general. Some folks use sticks exclusively. I actually use sticks more at home than I do for travel.
