[Soap Thing]

A few years ago a friend from work (who is unfamiliar with DE shaving) gave me this sharps container to put my spent DE blades in... I could shave every day for 50 years and have no chance of filling this thing up [emoji38]. Where do your blades go to die before they hit the trash can?

I do most of my banking online. Not sure how to digitize my blades. Maybe I need a Stark Trek transporter room?




I actually use an old plastic Rolaids bottle with a slot cut into the cap.

Right now im using an old Tylenol PM bottle with a slot cut and I put a drop of superglue on the lid so it won't come off easily. I might 3d print a blade bank though when this is through unless I have another one of the empty bottles by then..

An older apartment I lived in 15ish years ago had one of these in the bathroom. I was happy to add to it while I had it.

If there isn’t space for them in the container they came in, they get put back in a wrapper and snapped in half.

When I finally get around to finishing our master bath remodel I plan on doing this. For now I use an old coffee can that I decorated with old razor and blade ads:

True-ish. Depends on the blade. But the can also gets filled with rusty blades from razors I find out in the wild, and with scraper blades we use around the house.

Putting used blades in Thater brushes (or are they Shavemac ) and near full soap containers doesn't seem like the best place to store them.

Actually both Thater and Shavemac in the photo. Good call!! . No brushes or soaps were harmed during photo shoot. . Blade bank is kept high up in medicine chest during regular business hours so as to be far out of reach of 3-4’ grand-urchins.
