Big Lots witch hazel

Has anyone noticed that big lots bottle of witch hazel smells exactly like Dickinsons original witch hazel and has the same percentage of ingredients?? Also the big lots version is made by Vi Jon.. I just thought I would mention it if it hasnt been already because at the price of the big lots stuff you can get multiple bottles of it for the price of one Dickinsons if you need to save money..

To me, all regular witch hazel smells the same. Doesn't matter if it's Dickinson's, Swan, Humphreys, or the cheap store brand stuff.

And true witch hazel is going to 86% Witch Hazel and 14% alcohol, no matter what brand it is. There's very little difference between the brands. That's why I always use the cheap store brand stuff.

The only difference you'll find is in Thayers, or some of the specialty versions of Humphreys that have other stuff added in. But technically speaking (per the definition of what witch hazel is) once you add something else to it, it's no longer witch hazel. That's why Thayers changed their labels to say that their products are now called toners.

I just wanted to let you guys know. When I opened the bottle the scent to me was exactly like the Dickinsons ( to be honest i kind of like the dollar tree scents better ) The dickinsons and similar ones sort of have a burnt smell to them to me and the dollar tree version has a fresher scent to me. The big bottles 16 oz was only 2 dollars... The stuff from dollar tree is only 8 oz so it comes out to almost the same price but at least vi jon is a brand a lot of us know better than some of the other brands dollar tree carries. Thanks for your imput on this subject.Just so you guys or gals know, when you are at Big Lots the bottles look a lot like the alcohol bottles...
