Avon shave soap?

Did a search and couldn't find anything. Anyone here ever heard of shave soap from Avon? Picked this up recently. Only one I've ever seen. Looks to be NOS as the puck is still wrapped in plastic.

Yes, Avon made shave soap. They made an entire shave set with mug, soap, brush and AS.

But, that is not shave soap. It is hand soap. The Wilderness box with soap.

Pretty cool item. Would be cool if it WAS shave soap but it is a really cool idea to have hand soap and a box like that. I remember about 20-25 years ago the ladies at work used to gather around the little avon booklets and place orders with the one person in the office who was the "Avon rep" . I remember the booklet having a lot more than makeup, frags and soap, they had unique toys and gadgets too. Avon was really smart, they made decent products and packaged them in collectible containers or packaging giving everyone a reason to keep buying more.

Yep. Which is why there's still so much vinatge Avon aftershave out there. Guys kept getting more, just for the bottles themselves and could never use all they had.

Exactly! Or vintage items would exist only as empty bottles, tubs and boxes. Us being able to enjoy those products still, speaks to the beginnings of hoarding and stockpiling in the shave world! LOL
