NFHS: Personal Foul Defenseless player hit, with targeting. Depending on the course of the game this could elevate to an ejection.

Was this as violent a hit as it appears? I mean, it was a savage hit, but did the mics make it sound worse than it was? Please excuse the nievete’ never played sports. I was a band geek.

The issue is the direction of the hit towards the players head. These regardless of violence are all illegal.

The game of football has changed.
