Welcome to the Vendor section of The Shaving Cadre Forum (hereafter referred to as TSC).
The Artisan and Retailer section is intended to offer TSC member Artisans and Retailers a means to promote their business to the members of the TSC Forum for Profit. TSC does not warrant, endorse or promote any of their products, but we are entering into a partnership with the company.
TSC is not responsible for any and all transactions or promotions that are false, do not meet expectations, or for a member not living up to their end of an agreement. If these problems arise we ask you work directly with the vendor privately.
APPLICATION PROCESS: (3 steps)
1) Applicants must send a PM addressed to all owners (HandleBarberDave,Cblindsay, and Cvargo) requesting approval, badge, and access to Artisan and Retailer section which will set up the individual store front.
2) Once approved by the ownership, you will be Invoiced to PayPal the Sum of $150.00 ( annual Fee)
3) Once verified you will receive your badge, your storefront will be set up in the subcategory section of the Artisan and Retailer area, and you will be granted moderator rights to your storefront. This process can take up to 48 business hours.
RULES:
As a Artisan or Retailer we recognize that you operate your own storefront. Sales should primarily be done through your website.
You must be a registered member of TSC
All Artisans and Retailers will pay a fee. That fee will be $150.00 per year. This will payable to the TSC via PayPal only Prior to any posting in the Artisan and Retailer Section. PLEASE NOTE, the ownership reserves the right to increase these prices at any time, and or terminate the program with no refund of current fees. Prices will not be increased for a current term, only at renewal
Renewal notifications will be sent out approximately 30-days prior to your renewal. Failure to pay by your expiration date will result in your badge being removed and access removed
As an Artisan or Retailer you WILL be allowed to indicate you are a Vendor you will be allowed to post about promotions you are running on your site, discuss your products, discuss their uniqueness to the shaving community, and discuss pricing
As an Artisan or Retailer we want you to feel comfortable to become part of our community, and also feel comfortable to discuss your products openly. All we ask is that no threads are derailed, and that you do not talk negatively of another Artisan or Retailer.
Sales should be conducted on your website, and TSC does not garner any liability.
What items can you sell? We ask that they please correlate to the main theme of the forum. Offering to sell alcohol, tobacco, firearms, drug paraphernalia, any illegal substance, pornography, etc. is STRICTLY prohibited. In other words keep it relevant to what this site is about. Failure to comply with this rule will result in being banned.
By entering a partnership with TSC we ask that you please place our logo on your website linking to TSC.
You can provide a banner ad to TSC that we will display throughout the forum. TSC will not create this ad, it must be provided to TSC by you the Artisan or Retailer.
If you want a video ad to be displayed during our radio broadcast that TSC owner’s produce this is done at an extra cost, and you would need to contact TSC owners.
If at any time TSC deems the partnership to no longer be lucrative to that of TSC your membership can be revoked without refund.
Dave (HandleBarberDave) is the administrator who oversees the Vendor Section, questions can be directed to him, however, it is always encouraged to include Chris (cblindsay) and Chad (cvargo) in any communications in case Dave is away for a period of time. (Yes we all do have lives outside of TSC)
We do promote interaction on other areas of the thread and encourage you to answer any questions as they arise in other thread, however do not shill! Please refer the conversation back to your Artisan or Retailer thread.
Bad mouthing or harmful statements to ANY other Artisan or Retailer or Hobbyist about their items is STRICTLY prohibited and will result in the loss of your Vendor badge and possible permanent removal from The Shaving Cadre
Again this is buyer-beware and as an Artisan or Retailer you may not please everyone and that or those persons can make comments on their behalf. Deal with all complaints off post both as a Vendor and potential customer. Debates, arguments, or un- gentlemanly behavior will result in your immediate removal.
At TSC we also encourage partnership between you the Artisan or Retailer and TSC. If you would like to explore a TSC exclusive or use the TSC logo on your product, we encourage you to contact the three owners so this can be discussed.
