Does anybody know if there are any shaving soaps currently being made that smell like Aqua Velva Ice Blue?

Why not make your own? Real easy, Take a puck of Williams Mug Soap. Grate, pour Aqua Velva till it just covers it let sit stir every few days until alcohol evaporates known as "Blue Willy" and you can do this process with any aftershave you like and have a great soap.

I’ll have to try that... Sounds like you could spend a lot of time experimenting with different scents.

Some of our vendors may be capable of making a custom batch also if there isn’t anything out there already.

In the past we do a "Willy" Challenge where you pick a scent or aftershave make the "Willy's" soap and then see how many shaves you can get out of it @Spider usually runs it around February, when we used to do it but here are some that we have seen

Blue Willy ( aqua Velva )
Sport Willy ( Aqua Velva Sport )
Blasted Blue Willy ( Penhalgon's blasted Heath / Aqua Velva
Veg Willy ( lilac Vegetal )
Club Willy ( Clubman )
Brut Willy ( Brut )
Spicy Willy ( Old Spice )

Literally your imagination, a few pucks, and time, and you have a great shave soap

Wow, I need to try this! I don't have scented aftershaves, so I'd better go shopping. Love to find them excuses. [emoji1787]

I've grated a few pucks in my day... They balloon up in volume when grated. You're probably talking 2-3 oz of aftershave to cover it? How long does it take for all of that to evaporate?

A week or more depending on your humidity. I will check some of my notes going back and let you know

I don’t know how I didn't know about this...I need to get some Williams so I can make myself some Club Willy!

Does anyone have instructions on the process of making your own Willy soap? Or is it as simple as @BarberDave said: grate, mix, sit, stir?
My process is to grate a puck into an empty tub, and loosely pack it. Then pour 2-3 oz of aftershave over it. You can close the tub for a couple of days to help it to start absorbing into the soap, but you don't have to. Then leave the tub open for a week or so, until the alcohol evaporates. As it reduces, you can smoosh down the soap to help it back into one solid puck again. And if your soap gets real soft, you can stir it together to get some really nice results.

Thanks KJ! My AOS Sandalwood Cream should kick the bucket tomorrow so I’ll have a nice sealable tub to use.
