Amazon stuff???

I rec'd a $50 gift card for Amazon for Christmas and was looking at adding new soap (like I really need more soap!). Is there anything worth buying on Amazon? Anything I might be missing that I need to pick up?

Amazon carries lots of stuff including a few known artisans. You’d be surprised what you can find. Just start searching!

With how good artisans are now a days I see no real need for mainstream products like art of shaving, mitchells wool fat etc. There are some shave sticks that are good though Palmolive, la toja, Lea, just to name a few. But I think those can be found cheaper elsewhere.

If I had a $50 gift card to Amazon and I wanted to use it on shave gear I think I would go for stocking up on DE and SE blades.

The most important thing for shaving stuff on Amazon might be to compare it to the vendor’s actual site prices (or the site they sell from). Sometimes you can get thing for the same price either way, sometimes the vendor’s site is a bit less expensive and you have to decide if the difference is worth it.

As a personal preference, $50 will get you most of the way to a Feather AC SS shavette if you’ve ever thought about taking the plunge...just saying!

I am not sure I am ready for a straight razor. Still mastering a DE razor. I have about 600 DE blades so I dont know if I need anymore blades. I see some product from Fine that look nice. i just wish Amazon had a better selection of more Artisan soaps

A few good artisan soaps I found on Amazon (shipped):

WSP Formula T (multiple scents)- $16.99
Chiseled Face Ghost Town Barber- $15.99
Henri et Victoria (multiple scents)- $14.95
Fine (multiple scents)- $12---$16
Grooming Department (a few scents)- $26.95
Wholly Kaw (a few scents)- $22.94---$27.94
