Just saw this posted when I went to drool over Alpha’s brushes. Looks like some pretty good blade exposure.

I know, right? I’m curious to hear reviews once they start hitting the street. Can’t imagine having much rigidity.

I have to concur, that will lack rigidity as the bottom support is too far back for my liking......

Talking about that. The pinch/clamp point of the razor on the blade is set pretty far in, along the lines of Merkurs and EJs.

I like a mild razor so I am probably not the right guy to comment on this...but man there seems to a be a LOT of blade gap there.

There are razors that have a closer and superior pinch point. These are the ones I prefer. I don't own a single Merkurs or EJ.

It just seems to me that many of the razors out there are copies of, or based on the Merkur and EJ razors. That’s what I see here.

It seems to me that DEs which curve the blade downward tend to be more mild. The ones where the blade is held flat tend to be more aggressive. This one looks like it will be fairly mild. It could have a ton of blade chatter, however.
