After many discussions, and looking at ALL possible alternatives, it has been determined that the 2023 TSC Con will be postponed until April of 2024. This is probably one if the hardest posts and announcements that the TSC Ownership has ever had to make.

As you know, our belief is that YOU, the members are the life blood of the Cadre, and as such, it is all about Serving our customers. With the success of the 2022 TSC Con, we were very excited to bring you 2023 in San Antonio. That being said, however life sometimes gets in the way, as is the case here.

The events leading to this decision all occurred this week, and right up to the time of this announcement.

All three of the owners have had new issues arise. We will not be going into detail at this time. (NOTE* if the Owners involved would like to elaborate, they will do that here in this thread, but that will be up to them). That being said, The Shaving Cadre Forum was and is 3-partners, and more importantly 3-friends and as such, to be a bit cliché, it is One for All, and All for One. So, after exhausted efforts to "Make this Work" The final overall feeling was that if all three of us could not make it to a TSC sponsored event, then we would not have the event.

We have always made all TSC Decisions together and want to be at all events together. We apologize for any inconvenience; appreciate your patience and we Guarantee the 2024 TSC Convention will be even better. It is still planned for April of 2024, Location to be determined.

We have more information on dates in the next few months, once things calm down, as to location as well.

We hope you will start planning now for the TSC Con in April 2024.

In lieu of the above statement, I felt I owed you, the members, the reasons why I would not have been able to attend. Many of you know that I was in a pretty bad vehicle accident in January of last year. The litigation, not to mention, my ongoing medical treatment is close to some sort of finality. Including the fact that many of the ailments may be permanent determined by upcoming treatments at a pain clinic. Aside from the treatment, it looks as if that same week as the CON, I may be spending that time in Court. This is not definitive, however it was not a situation I could take a chance on.

Since all three of us could not make it, the above decision was made, and the personal issue mentioned above had to take precedence. Should my partners divulge their issues that arose, I will leave that to them, when they are ready to share

I look forward to seeing you all in 2024

Sorry that things had to be postponed. And I definitely feel for you Dave with ongoing treatment and especially litigation (I personally know how that can go). But to be frank...for me...this year has already proved problematic for a few reasons and TSC Con for me likely wouldn't happen. But next year is a definite for me. Thank you @BarberDave @CBLindsay and @CVargo for keeping us apprised.

Are you reevaluating the location, and thinking about having it elsewhere?
 
While this is a bummer....the health of one or our leaders is important. But let's be honest....Chad is scheduled to get a vasectomy that weekend and we all know what a baby he can be. Megan was going to have to carry him around in a backpack on her back the whole time so he could feel comforted. Drinking sub-par liquor out of a sippy cup. Plus his "beard" will be super itchy by that time. He'll need to rub his face against a tree every two hours.
 
Totally understandable and you three fellas come first. All of you rock!

We could do a virtual TSC Con - oh, we already do - every other Sunday!

No vasectomy. And actually I was slated and approved to go on this trip. Looking for another trip, if anyone is interested. Like mentioned with the fact that all 3 couldn't be there and the personal issues we felt best decision was to cancel this year. It sucks... but was the right decision.

Don't be scared. We can walk you through the procedure. Then you can join the Blank Shooters club. We used to have jackets but they were just condoms....and we don't need those anymore!!!
