2020 a year of soap

2020 was a year of trying to get rid of soaps. Well here we go!



13 awesome soaps bit the dust. But then a certain soap makers kept sending me stuff to test and of course I bought some some along the way. I had to move to overflow. It's predominantly CBL, but there's some new Victory in here, Lisa's, and a couple Ethos soaps. How many will I use up in 2021?

Getting back in I accquired way more than I killed, but still managed to kill two soaps. We'll see how many go down in '21.

I think I only killed a couple CBL soaps this year...they weren’t even full pucks though lol. I have a tiny rotation and I don’t know how you all do it.

I killed far fewer, but am happy with what I did. Finished last year were Pre de Provence #63, Trumper Rose and BebeLush Bay Rum....all soaps. I started a tube of TOBS St James cream, which is still going strong.

I have some ambition for 2021, including a brand new tub of TOBS Royal Forest Cream, a tin or two of St Charles Shave soaps and Trumper Violet soap. The Trumper will take the longest, but is worth the effort.

This thread spurred me to look back at my 2020 kills. Surprisingly, I only killed 2 tubs (although I'm close to finishing another):

L&L (nka Declaration) Champs de Lavande

Having said that, I also went through 13 samples. I slowed a little on my progression because I gave up on 2 tubs this year after making dents in them. Hoping to pick things up a little in 2021.

Only a couple of kills for me in 2020 as well - MW Coconut Sandalwood and Cremo Coconut Mango, with the Cremo being relegated to shower duty after 30 or so shaves on the tube.
