What a difference a new blade makes - after struggling yesterday the brand new Super Platinum made quick work of my stubble and left me BBS in three swift, easy passes. It’s been such a long time since I used the Cella so I wanted to enjoy its delightful bitter almond scent, it buried my face in such thick, rich, slick lather, and it’s so gentle on my sensitive skin. The Lubriderm moisturizer felt so soothing and the Proraso Red aftershave smells lovely - a very good match for this particular soap. Did I ever have fun during this shave - wow!!!!!

Fantastic shave Akhi!! I've spent a lot more on soaps and after three shaves I feel that Cella is as good as anything I've ever used.

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Wonderful shave this morning! Returned to Noble Otter and their excellent "Thé Noir Et Vanille" suite of products. An incredible fragrance with a super thick and slick lather built with the Aylsworth Altare synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and the matching aftershave splash & EdP.

BBS bliss!!

Did 2 passes plus minor touchups for a cueball smooth dome. The Seaforth Sea Spice Lime SS is a favorite. I knew that I needed more lather so I added a little more soap for my final pass. I just love the unconventional lime scent. Had very little alum feedback. Witch hazel and matching aftershave treatments finished this shave. Take care.

That’s one of the best bay rum scents out there IMO.

Today's shave on the 4th use of the Gillette Platinum was passable, but not as smooth as yesterday's shave. I used plate R2 today. 2 days of growth. I binned the blade afterwards.
