Tabac Tuesday:

Long hot shower with Tabac bath soap
Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
Super Speed/7 O’Clock day 3
Tabac SS
Lubriderm Moisturizer
Tabac Deodorant Spray
Tabac AS Splash
Tabac Cologne

Not too much to say except that I look gorgeous, (according to my wife!) I enjoyed my shower so much, I had a fantastic three pass BBS shave, and I feel great not to mention how beautiful I smell. (my wife doesn’t really think so because she’s not too crazy about the Tabac scent!) I absolutely LOVE it!

Wishing you all an awesome day - be well and stay safe!

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

"Best Shave of the Week" contender this morning! Returned to ETHOS Grooming Essentials and Frank's excellent "Blue Lotus" shave soap & splash. Fantastic scent with exceptional lather built with the WWBW badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed Thayers unscented witch hazel, the matching skin food splash & Parfums de Nicolai "Patchouli Intense" EdP.

Hope you have a great day. :)

After using a setup like this one I think I’ll need all day for my face to thaw out. A most enjoyable and awesome three pass BBS shave even if I say so myself!

My wife would HATE Tabac. I don't dare bring it into the house. Not to mention she would probably have an allergic reaction to the scent.

I'm glad your wife tolerates it.

Agreed. I'm always on the look-out for the old stuff. Seems to be nowhere though. A lot of Shulton Old Spice, AV and others out there but not much of the old Fabergé stuff. Sometimes I use vintage Avon "Tai Winds" splash and cologne. Closest thing I've found to the original Fabergé juice.
I've found a bottle on etsy, of all places. But I settle for the modern stuff, as I only have the one bottle and save that for special occasions. I picked up the 70's cologne soap for like $10 a tub. Can't beat the value for that price.

Nice shave Akhi! I used to keep track of how many shaves I had with each Henson. At some point I stopped and just aggregate them. I don't think I really gave the medium a fair chance. I may have to remedy that.

I know you keep track of your mild with the titanium handle. I have no idea how many times I've used any of my razors. I do keep track of how many times I've used a blade. I think the most times for any blade was 6. However, I mostly do 3 - 5 and 2 - 3 with a half DE.

The Henson AL13++ was my first modern DE razor getting back into the traditional wet shave. It is a great razor, but for me, a little too efficient for everyday use. I typically shave every 2-3 days. I've thought about getting the mild to see if at times I could use it for everyday shaves.

Have a great Hump day.🐪
