Shave #136 (940 Open Blade Shaves) of 2024:

Gear: Tedalus Essence, Feather ProGuard blade, Yaqi Sagrada Familia synth brush, Stirling Agar soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe, Nivea Sensitive AS Balm, Fine American Blend AS, and Tom Ford Beau De Jour to finish!

Man, Wednesday already?! Crazy!

Great shave this morning. No hull plating damage, as our Major friend was so often fond of saying. Just 3 solid passes over a silky lather, with excellent results! Decided to push the mid week Rive Gauche-esque pick-me-up button. So good!

Professional coffee this morning, then what should be a well paced day of work. OT workout later this evening. Really feeling a bit blobby from having missed out on Saturday, but back to it!

Happy Wednesday all!

Shave #137 (941 Open Blade Shaves) of 2024:

Gear: Tedalus Essence, Feather ProGuard blade, Yaqi Rainbow w/ pony synth brush, Stirling Agar soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe, Nivea Sensitive AS Balm, Brooklyn Grooming Anchor AS, and Dior Sauvage EDT to finish!

The week is scootin right along!

Great shave this morning. The blade seems to definitely be ready for a swap out come Saturday. The weather is still cold and overcast, but went with Sauvage EDT to close anyway. It may shine a bit better in warmer weather, but it’s still good either way!

Another IDT this morning and some home visits. Today is shaping up to be not so bad for work (*knock on wood*). The middle child has his year-end volleyball banquet tonight to celebrate their great season. High chances, as with the last 2 years, it’ll just be mostly centered around the same kids the head coach feels are the best thing since sliced bread, who just get praise over and over throughout the season…but at least there’ll be a little recognition for others too.

Happy Thursday all!

Shave #138 (942 Open Blade Shaves) of 2024:

Gear: Tedalus Essence, Feather ProGuard blade, Yaqi Moka synth brush, Stirling Agar soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe, Nivea Sensitive AS Balm, Brooklyn Grooming Anchor AS, and vintage Ralph Lauren Chaps to finish!

Friday, yussssssss!

Great shave this morning to help put a cap on the work week. Not much to say. The donut on the Agar is more developed but surprisingly sill hasn’t broke through to the bottom of the tub, even though it’s super translucent now and I can see a lot of Stirling green. Decided to go old school with the frag and do vintage RL Chaps!

Busy day of visit ahead. Let’s git er dun!

Happy Friday all!
