Great shave with which to kick off the workweek. Returned to Saponificio Varesino and their excellent "70th Anniversary" soap & ASL. Fantastic scent and phenomenal lather built with the SV Manchurian badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Gillette Aristocrat, and I finished with the matching aftershave lotion.
Great shave this morning. Today's theme was "Lime" and I kicked it off with Stirling Soap Company's excellent "Lime" shave soap. Fantastic scent and phenomenal lather built with the Paladin "Falstaff" 2-band badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Gillette Aristocrat, and I finished with ETHOS Grooming Essentials Custom Blend "Lime EO" skin food splash and Armani "Acqua di Gio" EdT.

From the A&E Website:
What’s better than Cherry Cola!
As a child, we had a luncheonette in Beacon, NY. The family restaurant was started by my Grandfather and later my father. The restaurant (Charkalis’ Restaurant), was a 50’s style restaurant. We had the syrup which you would hand pump and mix with soda water. This was where my grandfather introduced me to Cherry Cola which was mixed with the cola syrup. It was amazing! My grandfather would then quickly stir it with a long spoon and sometimes scooped vanilla ice cream and added that on top. This was just on another level.
There’s no vanilla added in this, however, I think you too will feel nostalgic when smelling our shaving cream.
