It was indeed. The side shot shows the wonderful angle of attack. I went months without being able to feel anything with that fingertip. I guess it means that I was able to make a blade at least semi-sharp once upon a time.Wow! That’s a good one!

Just got a flashback to the last time I smelled burning skin. It was pretty gnarly too. The student with that crew seemingly refused to go in the room with them. I guess I get it, but I saw it as valuable experience. Not too often we see burns like that.Guess who it is reviving this thread again.......
Anyway, some information for all of you reading. Black iron can still be HOT, and burning flesh stinks.....
