Murphy's Gallery: A pictoral chronicle of pain.

Dang it Chris.... You got my hopes up to see carnage and all you have is a little scratch. What the heck!?!?!?

Lol sorry to disappoint! The worst one I’ve had was about an inch long and not super deep thankfully. Bad touchdown on the upper lip from my regular SR. Still not more than a little seepage. I’ve been pretty lucky so far.

Funny how it feels like a gouge and then you take a pic and wonder why it doesn't look worse.

Was in a hurry but decided to try a Feather SS 1st pass shave before DE clean up passes. Little stumble drew some red stuff but not much/ Pretty much sealed up by the end of witch hazel application. No styptic or Alum was even needed. The redness you see around the mouth area is always there. Some sorta skin condition (dermatitis ??) present there and my eye brows. I'm pointing to the spot on the chin. I'm not deterred tho..........I don't think

Not completely shaving related, but I did it working on a piece for a site member, so it may qualify. After a few days it's starting to heal nicely.

Well.... Almost healed up and then went to my dad's to help him run some 30 inch wide, 12 foot long, 2 inch thick maple table tops through the sander and got it blistered back up again... Still not as bad as the original burn though. Stupid things weighed about 200 pounds each.....
(Edit: That was a good guess... It works out to 60 board feet with maple having an average weight of 39 pounds per cubic foot. So 195 pounds.)
