Concaved edge

Hey All,

Bill M. sent me a Gold Dollar honed up on the convexed stones. Thanks again Bill! I am impressed with the concaved edge, although i dont feel like i got to experience the full potential(but i am still grateful!!) of this method because Gold Dollars are pretty thickly ground. Those puppies do ring (like a bell) more on a strop than a standard '∆' edge, for sure!

i noticed a difference too between different steels - i have a cheap ZY stainless steel blade that rings like a bell and a Dovo Bismarck that doesn't. They both shave like a charm.
