I finished my MdC Rose Brain Bowl after 508 three pass shaves. The prior Brain Bowl only lasted 485 three pass shaves. At under 14 cents a shave, MdC is well worth its higher initial cost.

You now have a most excellent wood bowl as a last memento of your accomplishment! How did the wood hold up after all that use?

Man, I wish I had thought to pick up a brain bowl back when I was in the middle of my shave soap madness.

Man, I wish I had thought to pick up a brain bowl back when I was in the middle of my shave soap madness.

This was my third Brain Bowl (2 Rose, 1 Original). I was unable to find a new Brain Bowl and all MdC products were getting hard to find. My go to Pasteur’s was out, so when I found 2 200g jars, I scooped them up. Hopefully, they will have the same longevity but I’m sure I’ll miss the bowl. I’ll need to order more in about 2 1/2 years and will hopefully find better availability.
